Macaws are are the largest parrots in the world –they can grow as tall as 33 inches. Scarlet Macaw’s are truly mesmerising and they live for expressing all of their colours into the world. Their beaks are super strong and sturdy to crack open those yummy nuts found in the rainforest.
Scarlet Macaws are high flyers and love spending their time being socialites in tall trees in forests and near rivers in Southern Mexico to Brazil and even in the island of Trinidad.
Sadly, due to habitat loss from Rainforest destruction/deforestation and pet trading their numbers in the world are decreasing. Spread the love and awareness for these beautiful, striking and unique birds!
